Performs all those medical and nursing functions for which qualified by education and training and further delineated by individual protocol agreement with the Director of Medical Services for The Center for Drug Free Living.
Master's Degree in Nursing with certification as an ARNP in the State of Florida. Certification by a National Certifyng Board. A minimum of 2 yers expereince in psychiatry, addictions or with "at risk" populations. Requires a solid foundation in primary medical care, knowledge of addictions medicine and the psychiatric and social issues inherent in the evaluation and treatment of this population. Requires the ability to work as a fully functional team member as wel as defuse cricis situations when they occur in the medical/phychiatric setting. Must be able to work independently with a minimum of direct supervision. Requires the ability to write legibly and logically and to communicate effectively with all members of the health care team. In addition, must be appropriately trained and certified in the specialty for which (he/she) was hired. Prior experience in the field need not be as an ARNP if nursing experience was appropriate. A valid Florida Driver's License and State requried insurance is also necessary as practrice is at multiple sites.
